To save on transport and storage costs and reduce delivery lead times for customers, ESAR makes effective use of consolidation points and cross-docking in its logistics process. Multiple smaller loads are merged into larger loads for transport and shipped out from one location as soon as possible with minimal (if any at all) storage costs being incurred in a process known as consolidation cross-docking.
